The therapeutic interview method is a work in progress that will result in a strategy with which to somatically and empathically engage participants about their post-traumatic experiences. The method is informed by a wide variety of therapeutic techniques including Somatic Experiencing, Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor, group therapies and healing rituals. Ultimately, this method will result in interactive art applications that can break down the communication barrier that trauma creates in order to establish an empathic link between participants and the people experiencing the final art products.
